I’m a part time photographer based in and around Birmingham.
I fell back in love with photography about 5 years ago (after a few years in the wilderness), mainly due the availability of decent digital cameras and through using sites like Flickr, and in 2010 decided to join up with Project 365 with the intention of taking and posting one photo a day for the year.
Hand in hand with that I decided to start a blog, initially to chat about the project, but more to waffle endlessly about all types of photography – the new love encompasses all sides of photography – digital, film, 35mm, medium format, and with the aid of some ancient film cameras bought off e-bay I’m processing my own negatives.
More recently I’ve got involved with portrait photography, which I’m extremely passionate about – mainly looking at classic portraits with a bit of a twist, and am loving alternative, emotive and retro styling, especially using alternative photography techniques: film, InfraRed, Lensbaby, toy cameras etc
If there is anything you like on the site, give me shout, or if you feel you have anything to add to my portfolio, let me know, I’m always looking for new people to work with!
Photos are available to purchase from my Redbubble site in a variety of formats, canvasses, t-shirts etc – if there is a picture you particularly want that isn’t there, just let me know and I’ll get it uploaded – just follow the link at the bottom of the page.
